Didn't we just do this..........?

Well, what can i say? How did this year speed past so quickly? It feels like it was on hyperdrive since January. I was sure I only just updated this blog with the latest from my christmas craft shows last year.

But as my latest trip to my local supermarket showed, I'm already behind with my preparations for this festive time of year.

So what have I been up to?

Unfortunately, due to ill health, I haven't really been doing much but I'm finally back on my feet and raring to go.

I've decided this year, that I will make my own display for my jewellery. It feel more satisfying displaying my handmade jewellery on my own handmade wooden displays.

Here are some pics of what I have made so far.

I will definately be uploading some pictures when I have set up the stall with all the jewellery. I'm actually quite excited to do the craft fairs. I find that every year, I change my displays, adding or taking things away. Using different materials and lights also makes a massive difference. This year, I have 2 standing lamps on each side of my table and then a smaller light that shines the light on some of the featured pieces that I have made. This colour of wood also really brings out the jewellery.
